Senior Environmental Consultants Join Local Firm

(KANSAS CITY, MO) - S. Lizabeth McVay and Douglas N. Dreiling have recently joined the Environmental Science & Solutions (ESS) team in the Kansas City office of Bucher, Willis & Ratliff Corporation. The addition of McVay as project manager and Dreiling as team leader will continue to expand capabilities of the ESS team. ESS provides a full compliment of environmental compliance and consulting services to private and public-sector clients as well as BWR service groups nationwide.

McVay will serve as a project manager and use the full capabilities of ESS professionals to service local and national projects. She is a registered geologist and provides technical expertise for projects with geological, hydrogeological and microbiology components. McVay has 14 years of experience and specializes in property redevelopment and environmental due diligence, remedial investigations, site assessments, and nitrogen-based fertilizer by-product studies in aquifer systems. Dreiling has 18 years of senior consulting experience and specializes in environmental due-diligence, site assessment, remediation of soil and groundwater, and property redevelopment. He will serve as project manager and team leader and is also responsible for business development activities for ESS.

Prior to joining BWR, McVay and Dreiling owned Envision Group, LLC, an environmental consulting firm located in Kansas City. The firm was known for specializing in impaired property redevelopment with both partners recently providing consulting services to the redevelopment efforts in Kansas City, including the H&R Block World Headquarters, Sprint Center and The Cordish Company Power & Light Entertainment District.
