Civil EIT-Transportation

BWR is seeking experienced EIT’s for their growing Transportation Engineering team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The Transportation Engineering Team provides engineering design services and construction administration to ODOT, Cities and Counties.

The desired candidate(s) will have a BS in Civil Engineering with interest in the transportation sector and EIT certification. Previous design experience and/or relevant class work is desired. The candidate should have some experience using CADD/Land Design software packages. Training will be available and career development potential is outstanding.

Architecture-Project Manager

BWR is in search of a licensed architect to fill the role of senior architectural project manager in our Tyler, TX office. This demanding and fast paced position will require a personable candidate with extensive experience in client service. Prior experience working for an Architectural/Engineering Consultant, or construction related firm is required. The candidate should have extremely strong interpersonal skills. Aggressive, client-oriented personalities with a knack for creative problem solving will succeed in this position.

This position requires an experienced individual capable of design skills and good technical background. The candidate should have an accredited architecture degree. Strong experience managing multiple complex projects from initial programming / design through construction document production is also required. Experience in managing and coordinating all design disciplines on large projects is a must.
The candidate must demonstrate the ability to quickly grasp all project design impacts between design disciplines. The candidate must have a professional personality/attitude for representing BWR during client meetings and design reviews. Excellent quality control of construction documents and expert knowledge of building codes is critical.
Responsibilities also include the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. The candidate will need to be able to use AutoCAD for design development.

Architectural Intern

Environmental Engineer

Candidate shall have a Bachelor or Master degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering. Minimum requirements include PE registration and 5-6 years of related consulting experience with a background in wastewater and stormwater.

The position is for a Project Engineer and job duties will include providing engineering services to clients by serving as a point of contact, as well as overseeing the production of staff engineers and technicians assigned to the projects. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings and specifications, reviewing payment requests, reviewing manufacturer’s shop drawings, preparing cost estimates, analyzing and interpreting modeling data, and the use of computer programs for design, which can include AutoCAD, MicroStation, GeoPak, Civil 3D, Hec-Ras, XP-SWMM, and Pond Pack as needed to aide in design.

Team Leader-Transportation Engineering

BWR is seeking a registered PE to serve as Team Leader on their growing Transportation Engineering Team in Austin, Texas. At our newest office, the Transportation Team Leader will have the unique opportunity to form a new team and experience the excitement that comes from growing something from scratch.  The Transportation Engineering team provides engineering design services and construction administration primarily to the Texas Department of Transportation and some cities and counties.

The desired candidate will have 10+ years experience with transportation engineering, and be registered as a Texas PE. Previous experience will include managing the production of PS&E on TxDOT projects, and design experience for a wide range of transportation projects including highways, drainage, traffic, etc. The ideal candidate will have existing contacts in the Austin area and the ability to sell new business and manage some existing business. Specific experience with urban highways and interchanges is desired.

General responsibilities of the position will include design oversight, budget and schedule management and client relations. The position will require some involvement with marketing to potential clients, and preparation of RFP responses.

Senior Civil Engineer
